Best of Saskatchewan
The Winter 2013 issue of Prairies North is scheduled to hit newsstands on November 18, 2013.
This cover was created by Lionel Hughes layer by layer, starting with a simple editorial concept…the “Best Of” theme that city and regional magazines have mined for decades.
The end result features a white background, a yellow frame, strong skybar treatment and starburst to reinforce the main selling feature, flanked by a series of strong secondary hooks.
As a side note, Prairies North's Summer 2013 issue is up 39% from the prior year. The Fall 2013 issue is forecast to be up 100%.
