Vronique Cloutier and TC Media unveil Vro
TC Media has officially launched Véro, a French-language quarterly named after "muse-in-chief" Véronique Cloutier, with copies of the first issue hitting Quebec newsstands on Sept. 18.
Cloutier, a popular TV and radio personality in the province, adorns the cover and content "reflects her personality and vivacity" according to a TC Media statement. The mag was developed in partnership with Cloutier, with TC Media's Sylvie Poirier in the role of editor-in-chief.
Not only is content geared toward Cloutier's sensibilities, but her stylist, makeup artist, trainer and even mother will each have regular features covering fashion, beauty, health, and home entertaining. There is also a section for men, called Planète hommes.
The inaugural edition is 180 pages with a circulation of 120,000. It sports a Layar-enhanced cover for augmented reality, triggering a behind-the-scenes video, and is printed on recyclable matte paper. An iPad version will be available by the end of the month and online readers will be able to find select content at veromagazine.ca.
Upcoming issues are slated for November 2013, February 2014 and May 2014.
