The future is digital for Canadian Family
According to St. Joseph Communications, Media Group, although readership has grown substantially in the past five years the publication was unable to sustain print advertising support.
On the other hand Canadianfamily.ca continues to see a growth in its digital audience, supported by advertisers who are interested in reaching mothers on the lookout for recipes, product reviews, tips on health and wellness and family activities.
Regular readers will be pleased to know staples such as the Canadian Family Food Awards and Canadian Family Teacher Awards will continue on the website. The Family Tested Panel composed of over 20,000 parents providing feedback on their favourite services and products will also remain part of the digital publication.

Best of luck to the website team. It will be difficult to compete with other online-only parenting sites without the stellar print content to set them apart. Will certainly miss the print edition. We need more Canadian magazines, not fewer.
Very sad news. This was a quality magazine.
