The York Magazine
After almost 23 years, The York University Magazine (previously known as YorkU Magazine) is ceasing publication, citing financial constraints and changing audience patterns for its decision to close. Winter 2026 was its final edition. Launched in the Fall of 2003, the magazine was rebranded to its current title in 2015, following a 13-year run as YorkU Magazine. The digital editions are published three times a year along with regular, exclusive stories. The Fall issue is also printed and mailed to subscribers.
The publication is dedicated to keeping alumni informed and interested in the University by offering readers thought-provoking profiles and features about the vibrant York community. This includes the high level of academic achievement, research, teaching and services, as well as the outstanding accomplishments of its faculty and alumni.
