The Word On The Street (WOTS, September 26-27, 2026) is Canada’s largest annual book and magazine festival, bringing together readers, writers, publishers, bookstores, libraries and literary organizations for a vibrant, community-focused celebration. At the heart of the festival is The Exhibitor Marketplace, offering unique opportunities to connect with highly engaged readers and showcase new and established titles. David Pecaut Square at 215 King Street West in Toronto will once again host this year’s event. Exhibitor fees support WOTS as a non-profit charitable organization, helping organizers to continue a free festival experience for the public. Founded in 1989, The Word On The Street is one of Canada’s longest-running literary festivals welcoming over 130,000 visitors annually.
