Mike Holmes brand back with Make It Right SIP
Over a year since Holmes magazine was put down, The Holmes Group has partnered with TC Media for a new Mike Holmes-centered special interest publication called Make It Right.

The SIP is timed to honour Holmes' ten years on television. Along with the requisite home maintenance tips, it will feature a retrospective, behind-the-scenes look at the celebrity renovations expert. Style at Home's Erin McLaughlin is editor-in-chief.

"It seemed to us that Mike's ten year anniversary was the perfect time to come back with a new publication," said Liza Drozdov, vice-president of The Holmes Group, in a released statement. Holmes magazine, launched in Canada in 2009, was dropped in late 2011 by Dauphin Media Group as the publisher shifted its attention to American projects.

"After Holmes magazine ceased publication in 2011 we stepped back and regrouped," Drozdov said. "We took the time to research and evaluate the market and we made sure to find the right partners in TC Media. We already know that people really like Mike. They want to know more about him, as well as how he does things—the right way. So that's exactly what we did—we gave them more Mike."

"We were honoured that The Holmes Group came directly to us to produce this magazine," said TC Media's Caroline Andrews in the release. Make It Right will hit newsstands in Canada and the U.S. on April 22, 2013, with a cover price of $9.99. According to a TC Media rep its full page, full colour ad rate was $6,788.
