Finalists announced for National Magazine Awards and Digital Publishing Awards
 
 
Nearly 200 nominees were recently announced as finalists for the 2023 National Magazine Awards. The winners will be announced at the National Magazine Awards Gala on June 2 at Arcadian Court in Toronto.   

 

            Macleans leads the pack with 18 nominations, followed by The Walrus and Toronto Life with 13 each.

The same night awards will be handed out for the Digital Publishing Awards.

            Top nominees this year are Radio-Canada with 26 nominations and The Globe and Mail with 23 nominations, followed by CBC with 15 nominations (plus one co-production with Radio-Canada) and The Narwhal with 13 nominations.

Other top nominees include Toronto Star with nine nominations and Le Devoir with seven nominations; Toronto Star shares an additional nomination in collaboration with Hamilton Spectator in Best News Coverage for “Unchartered.”
