The Donaldson’s have owned Sampling Canada and published the Canadian Diabetes Care Guide and sampling kit for 20 years. Family Communications has also acquired its newsmagazines, Diabetes Care News and Info diabète, which is published quarterly and distributed to diabetes educaters.

The publication aims to keep those newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes informed about their illness.

“We are uniquely positioned to champion the business; we have many years of experience in delivering quality information to niche consumers through our ParentsCanada Group of nine parenting publications,” Don Swinburne, President of Family Communications Inc said. “We will take Alan and Maureen’s business to the next level, starting with a fresh new design and a commitment to their digital channels.”

The Canadian Diabetes Care Guide will be digest-sized on 70 lb stock.

Family Communications Inc also publishes ParentsCanada, Me & Mom, Baby & Childcare Encyclopedia, Vervegirl, Prom Canada and Today’s Bride.
