Canadian Immigrant Magazine releases 6th annual list
 
Canadian Immigrant Magazine in partnership with RBC has unveiled its Top 25 Canadian Immigrants list, highlighting the contributions newcomers have made to the country.

Sixteen winners were honoured during a ceremony in Toronto on June 24. The remaining nine will receive their awards in Vancouver today where they will receive a celebratory plaque and the opportunity to donate $500 to the Canadian charity of their choice.

South African-born Arlene Dickinson, an entrepreneur and host on Dragon’s Den made it to this years list, as did Julie Suen, president of Canadian Chinese radio in Richmond Hill.

The monthly publication is distributed throughout Toronto and Vancouver. A full list of winners can be found on the website and in the magazine’s July issue.
