Canada Post updates Publications Mail prices
Canada Post's changes to its rates and packaging options went into effect yesterday.
Publications Mail prices have been increased, and a larger weight category to allow for heavier items from 100 g to 250 g, announced last year, has been implemented for Samples, Promotional and Novelty Items (SPN) enclosures. The previous maximum weight was 100 g.
There are no price increases for SPN items up to 75 g. For the full breakdown, download a PDF of the new pricing chart here.
As well, Canada Post continues to roll-out mail deposit practices introduced last year. "When preparing your mailing, ensure your most convenient mail deposit location has not changed," warned Magazines Canada. A PDF of deposit centres listed by province can be downloaded here.
