Briefs & Bookmarks: Walmart Live Better, Mariage, Elle
 
Walmart Live Better, which launched in English in April, now has a French edition. Vivre Mieux Walmart, with a launch circ of 162,500, will publish eight times a year.

Also, the English Walmart Live Better is growing to nine issues a year, up from six, and is increasing circulation from 1 million to 1.1 million.

Responding to a 10% increase in readership since Fall 2012 according to PMB numbers, TC Media/Totem custom publication CAA Magazine is increasing its book size by 15%, bringing it up to 56 pages.

 
Mariage Québec is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a special Spring/Summer 2014 edition. The issue marks a "more practical and authentic" direction for the title, featuring real people throughout.

Elle Canada features transgender beauty queen Jenna Talackova in a January 2014 fashion spread. The top 12 Miss Universe Canada contestant is set to star in her own reality show, Brave New Girls, premiering Jan. 19 on E!.

Little Brother's third issue is all about pop. Sara McCulloch writes about boy bands and Spencer Gordon explores the ties between pro wrestling and writing. See pics from the launch party here.
