Canada's Top 50 Magazines released
Chatelaine is still the country’s number one moneymaker, based on the Masthead annual ranking of the country’s Top 50 magazines by revenue. The Rogers-owned women’s service book had total revenues of $51.4 million in 2009, a 9% decline from the previous year. Canadian Living ($49.7 million), Reader’s Digest ($48.1 million), Maclean’s ($33.5) and Canadian House & Home ($21.1 million) again rounded out the top five.

Special Reports
Thanks for your feedback. We use the base 1-year sub price for our chart calculations. We build in a weighting factor (based on conversations with publishers) because most publishers typically don't get 100% remit on the 1-year sub price. That's because many subs are sold at 2-year rates, or through sub agencies like QSP that take a commission, or through special promotions and offers that are at a discount to the base 1-year sub price. However, we strive to keep our surveys up to date so will look into this issue again and see if we need to update our weighting factors etc. We appreciate any feedback from any publisher.
