Watershed magazine, a community-based publication covering Northumberland, Quinte and Prince Edward County, has won a Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO) Media Award.

The RNAO Media Awards is an annual competition recognizing excellence in journalism that highlights nursing health and health-care issues. Winners were chosen from dozens of entries by a panel of 12 judges comprised of nurses and journalists.

Paul Danby’s article Mind Over Matter: The Uphill Battle to Convince A Doubting Public That Concussions Hurt, Sometimes Forever, won in the Magazine, best story category.
