The Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC) has set the deadline for its Interactive Digital Media (IDM) fund as October 5, 2015 at 5 p.m. Information sessions will be held on August 12, 13 and September 2, 2015.

According to the organization the IDM fund, provides IDM content creators with funding for high quality, original interactive digital media content projects that make a positive contribution to the Ontario economy.

The 2015-16 fund will have two streams: the Concept Definition Stream, which provides support for early-stage activities to assist the applicant company in moving towards the production of a market-ready content project; and the Production Stream, which provides support for the creation of a market-ready content project that will be released to end users.

This year, enhancements to the OMDC IDM fund were announced in the April 2015 Ontario Budget and will be introduced over the next two years. Interested applicants can apply online, and visit the OMDC website for more information.
