S/magazine and sstylemagazine.com have a new editor-in-chief. With over 10 years of experience writing for magazines including ELLE Canada, Fashion, The Kit, House & Home, The Globe & Mail and InStyle—Kristen Vinakmens will take the helm of the Contempo Media-published magazine.

Vinakmens’ most recent position was editor-in-chief of Cosmetics magazine. During her time at Flare in 2011, she won a P&G Beauty & Grooming Award for Best Beauty Editor, and In 2010, she launched Rougemag.com while at the Totem agency.
 
As editor-in-chief Vinakmens will be responsible for bringing trend-forward content on culture, lifestyle and beauty to the publication.
