Robert Newman tapped for Alberta conference keynote

The Alberta Magazines Conference (AMC) has announced its 2013 lineup. The speakers will deliver talks at the Calgary event March 14 and 15 at the Carriage House Inn. Robert Newman, most recently design director of Fortune and creative director of Real Simple, will deliver the keynote address.

Newman has also held design positions at Entertainment Weekly, New York, Details, Vibe, Inside, The Village Voice and Guitar World. His talk will address the conference's theme, "The Future of Publishing Is Now,” and will touch on trends in print, digital, mobile and online publishing.

The full roster includes experts from across North America, and topics will cover editorial, publishing, circulation, advertising, design and digital.
