In addition to the appointment we reported last week of Mike Ward as Canadian Living’s new food content editor-in-chief, comes the announcement that Jes Watson will be the publications new editor-in-chief.

"I look forward to working with Watson, and leveraging her experience as a digital content strategist for women's brands, to make Canadian Living a global leader online,” group publisher Sandra Martin, said. “Just as importantly for our audiences, Watson understands the challenges of every working woman today. She's an ambitious young professional, as well as a devoted spouse and mother, and will continue to work with the brand's editorial team to present ideas and inspirations for living well and eating well through the lens of what Canadian women truly want and need."

Watson will work closely with Canadian Living editors, freelance writers and with Martin to help grow the magazine’s digital and print reputation.
