Tom Gierasimczuk, the former vice president of editorial business development for Canada Wide Media and publisher of BC Living and BC Business, is now the general manager and publisher for Vancouver Magazine and Western Living.

"Tom is a seasoned and forward-thinking media professional who brings a unique blend of multiplatform content expertise, business acumen, creative thinking and tireless enthusiasm to our organization and to our Vancouver operation," Jacqueline Loch, Vice-President & Group Publisher for Toronto & Vancouver at TC Media said. "We are delighted to have him join our team to lead the talented teams at Vancouver Magazine & Western Living."

Under Gierasimczuk direction, BC Business magazine was named Magazine of the Year at the 2014 KRW Awards. Gierasimczuk's previous positions include: editorial director for The Marketing Group and Marketing Magazine, editorial director of RedPoint Media Group, and editor-in-chief for up! Magazine, WestJet’s monthly in-flight publication, and 360 Magazine. He holds a Bachelor of Journalism from Ryerson University.

Gierasimczuk will officially join the TC Media team on Oct. 1, to oversee the editorial, advertising sales, marketing, events and production teams for both publications.
