Most people feel journalists lie: Edelman trust survey
 
 
About two thirds of people around the world say they believe journalists and reporters purposely mislead people with false and exaggerated information, according to the latest trust survey from the global PR film Edelman.

            Faith in media is falling around the globe, with most respondents being concerned that fake news is at an all-time high. In the US, for example, just 30% of those surveyed said they trust the media. A little over half of respondents said they media was a divisive force in society.
            While trust is social media has fallen by 8% since last year, the steepest drop for all media, trust in traditional media has also declined by 5% since last year. Read the complete report.
