Mike Milne

 “Mike has exemplified the highest standards of journalistic integrity, persistence and clarity,” said Editor/Publisher Jocelyn Bell, who nominated Milne for the award. “His work helped define what editorial independence could and should mean in the context of Christian journalism.” Over his decades-long career, Milne reported on pivotal moments in the United Church’s history, including its response to residential schools, the ordination of LGBTQ2S+ clergy, and major financial and structural reforms.
