The Canadian Media Guild is a trade union representing over 6,000 workers at the CBC, Canadian Press, Reuters, Agence France-Presse, TVO, TFO, Aboriginal Peoples Television Network, ZoomerMedia, CKOI Radio Gatineau (Québec), as well as freelancers. The IJF is an independent, non-profit newsroom “that investigates how money and power intersect in Canada, while building public-interest databases that make those systems transparent, equipping citizens and other journalists to hold the powerful to account.”
