Ideon Media moves into men's market with AmongMen
Ideon Media has unveiled a new online men's lifestyle magazine, AmongMen.com, aimed at "Canada's modern man." Content runs the gamut from fitness, food, tech and style to relationships.

Editor-in-chief is style writer Christopher Turner, who previously contributed to Fashionism.ca, MSN.ca, Sun Media, the Kaboose Family Network and Torontolife.com.

This is the fourth site under Ideon Media's umbrella. The company also runs 29Secrets.com, an online women's lifestyle magazine, and parenting site BabyPost.com, as well as Nexopia, a social network that it purchased last year.

"These sites offer us the ability to run integrated sponsored programs and custom videos alongside original editorial content," said Kevin Bartus, president and chief executive officer, in a release.

Last year Profit mag ranked Ideon Media No. 10 on its Hot 50 list of growing companies, listing its 2011 revenue at $967,420 for a reported growth of over 800%.
