Chatelaine set to hit airwaves

Rogers Media's Chatelaine kickstarts its sixth delivery platform this Sunday, July 21 with the launch of Chatelaine Radio, a weekly two-hour radio program.

The show will mix music with conversation and advice from familiar Chatelaine personalities. Sunday's broadcast will feature food editor Claire Tansey, assistant fashion editor Tyler Franch, health editor Laurie Jennings, and home editor Emma Reddington, each sharing tips and trends from their respective areas of expertise.

Airing, of course, on Rogers-owned radio stations, Chatelaine's show will run Sundays in the Toronto market on 98.1 CHFI at 7 p.m., hosted by Taylor Kaye; in Calgary on Lite 95.9 at 8 a.m. MT, hosted by Billie Jo Ross; and in Kitchener on CHYM 96.7 and Country 106.7 at 6 p.m. ET, hosted respectively by Tara Connors and Jennifer Campbell.

"One year ago, we expanded to television with the Chatelaine Edition on City's Cityline," said publisher Tara Tucker in a Rogers release. "The success of that endeavour gives us confidence that our audience and advertisers will also embrace the Chatelaine experience on radio."

The brand is now available across print, online, radio, television, tablet and mobile. "Our end-user experiences the brand in many ways," said Tucker in conversation with Masthead in May, touching on the mag's cross-platform 85th anniversary campaign. "So it's really about learning the different mediums and how the content can best translate."
