CCN hits 60

Canadian Coin News turns 60 this month. The publication was launched in 1963 by Chet Krause in Wisconsin, though its editor, Cale Jarvis, was a Torontonian. The title moved to Canada soon after publication of its first issue, along with the company’s printing, typesetting and office spaces.

Over six decades, a few owners, and some name changes, the publication remained true to its goal of being all thing to Canadian numismatics.
