There is only one week left to enter the Canadian Cover Awards. The submissions process closes on Friday, Jan. 25, and entry info, including a full list of categories, can be found at coverawards.ca.

To celebrate the new venture, a Sponsor Appreciation and Networking Event hosted by CMC president Tony Danas is being held on Monday, Jan. 28 at the Quantum South Tower from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. RSVP by emailing cmc@tamicirc.ca or calling 905-729-1046.

The awards, a joint effort from the Circulation Management Association of Canada and Magazines Canada, will be held on Feb. 26 at the Courtyard Toronto Downtown. The awards are an evolution of the previous Canadian Newsstand Awards, a collaboration by Masthead, CMC and HDS Retail (now LS Travel) launched in 2002.

The Canadian Cover Awards are sponsored by Masthead, Covers Sell, K9 Design Co., LS Travel, and the Alliance for Audited Media.

Coinciding with the awards is the Magazines Canada Travelling Circulation School sponsored by CDS Global. Offering expertise on circulation strategy, the school will be held February 26 and 27. More information can be found at Magazines Canada.
