People in Publishing: Changes at CCAB, Toronto Life
Tim Peel has left his position as vice president at the Canadian Circulations Audit Board (CCAB), a division of BPA Worldwide for a job at the Advertising Standards Council. Peel has been with the CCAB since March, 1999.

Also gone from the CCAB is Neil Ta, formerly marketing manager at the company. Ta is now following his passion for photography, according to CCAB senior vice president, auditing Rich Murphy and has started Neil Ta Photography.

St. Joseph Media-published Toronto Life magazine has announced Maryam Sanati is joining its team in the newly created role of editorial director, special projects. Sanati will be responsible for managing the development of Toronto Life’s annual publications, including a Style guide to be launched in the fall of 2011.

Sanati has worked as editor in chief of Rogers-published Chatelaine and most recently at TorStar developing a new digital venture. She began her career in the mid-1990s at Toronto Life, so her return is a bit of a homecoming, says St. Joseph Media Marketing and Communications Manager Karen Cleveland.
