People in Print: Changes at Eye Weekly, Where Toronto and the Canadian Business Press
News at Eye Weekly where Greig Dymond has been hired as senior editor. Dymond most recently worked at CBCNews.ca as a feature writer and has won a National Magazine Award for humour writing.
Also at Eye Weekly, Carley Fortune is joining the team beginning January 4 as the developer of the weekly’s lifestyle section. Fortune has been the associate web editor of TorontoLife.com since 2007.
Deborah Trepanier has been announced as the new publisher of St. Joseph Media-published Where Toronto. Trepanier has previously worked as group publisher of Transcontinental’s home and garden group. She takes over from Andy Cook who left to become group publisher at Mississauga-based George Media which publishes titles including The Canadian Business Journal.
The Canadian Business Press has named Trish Torrance as its new executive editor. Torrance takes over from Karen Dalton.
