People in Print: Changes at Alberta Venture, Sweetspot and more
Paul Marck has been hired as the new editor of Alberta Venture. Marck replaces editor Michael McCullough, who is returning to his hometown of Vancouver. Marck has spent the last two decades at the Edmonton Journal, half of that time as a business writer. His work has also appeared in the Calgary Herald, Financial Post and the Kitchener-Waterloo Record.
Rebecca Legge has been promoted to vice president of sales at Canada Wide Media. Legge has worked in the sales department at Canada Wide Media for the past 10 years, and most recently worked in the development of sales for the company’s digital division.
Sweetspot.ca has hired Jennifer Hughes as the Ottawa City Editor for its soon to be published weekly newsletter and daily online content for the city. Hughes has six years experience at Canadian House & Home and has freelanced for many publications, including Gardening Life.
