Canadian Periodical Fund details coming next week
Masthead has learned the Department of Canadian Heritage will be releasing details next week on the Aid-to-Publishers component of the Canadian Periodical Fund. The announcement next week includes the guide plus application procedures.

The CPF will replace the Publications Assistance Program, which ends in April. The elimination of PAP means eligible publishers will effectively be facing double-digit percentage postal increases on their mailing invoices starting April 1. The new CPF is meant to offset the increases. The Fund has the potential to affect numerous magazines.
