For nearly its entire 100-year run, Businessweek has been distributed weekly, just as its name implies. Starting with the July 2024 issue, will be publish Bloomberg Businessweek once a month.The publication will be redesigned with “heavier paper stock for a more high-end look and feel”paper and contain more stories chronicling the most important figures, companies and trends in business, technology, economics and politics. Businessweek claims an increasing percentage of their work is published online in theform of columns, features, podcasts and video reports, and delivered to email inboxes in a daily newsletter that has the same penetrating reportingBloomberg .

In 2009 McGraw-Hill sold the magazine to Bloomberg after suffering a decline in circulation during the late-2000s recession as advertising revenues fell one-third. In 1975,the magazine was carrying more advertising pages annually than any other magazine in the United States.
