Cynthia Brouse scholarship at Ryerson University accepting donations
A scholarship has been established at Ryerson University in the name of beloved industry member Cynthia Brouse, who died last month.
The plan for the scholarship, which has Brouse’s family’s blessing is for the award to be given to an undergrad. Precise criteria has yet to be decided, but a note from the organizers says it will most likely go to a multi-talented student moving into second year.
Ryerson says $5,000 would produce a scholarship for five years and would be awarded as soon as the amount is collected. The organizers are aiming to raise at least $25,000 in an endowment which would last forever.
To contribute, visit:

Type “memorial fund” in the search box and follow the directions.
A Facebook page for friends to remember Brouse was also set-up on what would have been her 53rd birthday. To join the group, click here.
