2 unrelated interviews: Wintour and Husni
"I like people who represent the best of what they do and if that turns you into a perfectionist than maybe I am." – Anna Wintour in an interview with 60 Minutes
"When the economy is bad, when everybody is shrinking, when the big media companies are at a standstill, that’s the best time to start a new magazine because it’s going to take one to two years for that magazine to evolve and establish itself. Then you hope in two years, the economy will pick up and you’re ready for that marketplace." – Samir Husni in an interview with Industry Intelligence Inc.

I'm with Corinna AND Getting Annoyed. While I enjoyed the quotes (and watched the Anna Wintour interview with Morley Safer for 60 Minutes) some context would be nice as well. Also, as Corinna said and as all journalists rookie or veteran should know the creative juices don't flow freely everyday.

Uh, I liked the quotes too. Just for the record.
4. Getting Annoyed says:
How about some wrap around text to set us up for the quotes? How about some context to the quotes? Yes, writing takes time and effort, but I thought you were a journalist?
3. Sam says:
I thought the quotes were interesting...
2. Corinna says:
Ah, but we can't all be witty and insightful every day. I just felt they were interviews that my readers would want to see.

Corinna, is this the best that you can do? I'm sorry, Masthead, but if you're going to host this Dream Job TK "blog" it better offer some value to the audience. With every post this "blog" gets lazier and lazier. SAY SOMETHING VALUABLE or pull out already. There are tons of journalists out there dying to say something of substance and would kill for this spot. Shameless self promotion is all I see here...
