• Subscriptions and membership revenues are cause for optimism and publishers’ number one priority

• An expected migration back to newsrooms from digital platforms

• Podcasts, newsletters, and videos will become more important to monetize engagement

 

• Hybrid working conditions will be the norm

• Greater diversity in newsrooms will increase and may lead to more constructive news formats

• Reporting on climate change will take priority

• AI and the metaverse will play greater roles in journalism
