B2B magazines rank second in industry survey
B2B magazines ranked second in a recent study by Starch Research Services of useful information for purchasing products and services. The Internet ranked first in the seven industry sectors surveyed, up 23% from the last survey in 2004.

The report, which was organized by the Ontario Media Development Corporation in partnership with the Canadian Business Press set out to determine the role business press plays in the communication of business information to key purchasing decision makers.

The study measured the usefulness of all media that buyers use in seven sectors: agriculture; automotive and trucking; computers and technology; manufacturing; resources and construction; retail; and travel and tourism.  Fifty-eight individual B2B publications provided 500 randomly selected names from their circulation to take the survey.
